BIG Surprise!!!

I have been way behind on blogging the last few months, because I had a BIG secret....

Our little lovebug is due May 24th and we are THRILLED!!! God is so good!! We absolutely love seeing our baby on ultrasounds, but we are ready to hold this sweet baby!!

My first and only chalkboard picture at 12 1/2 weeks:

So far, this pregnancy is going pretty good! I was sick with a cold for about 3-4 weeks, and felt bad only about one or two weeks. Now that I am out of the first trimester I feel much better!!

Here is pictures of the baby around week 13!

We waited until about 11 1/2 weeks to tell everyone! We wanted to wait until after week 12, but I wanted to surprise my co-workers on Halloween! I made a shirt that said "Growing a lil' Pumpkin"! It was a fun day for sure!

We will find out the gender of the baby on December 9th (only 2 weeks!!!), and are planning a Christmas Gender Reveal Party!! I am soooo excited :)

Here is the invitation:

Will post pics of the gender reveal party in a few weeks!! Happy Holidays!!

New Loves

I've discovered a few new loves recently and thought I would share!!
I've been wanting to try out a new concealer for a while now... I absolutely LOVE the YSL concealer, but I don't love the $40 price tag. So, I went on a search at Sephora (very dangerous for me, because I want to buy the whole store), and I found this concealer by Urban Decay. I love Urban Decay products, so I knew this one would not let me down!

I like that this concealer is creamy and smooth, but covers blemishes very well! It almost feels like a foundation, but isn't thick or sticky like some concealers. I also love that it's HALF the price of the YSL concealer I was using ($19), and it seems to have much more product. Double Score!!

I am totally in love with this next product, and completely shocked that I love it so much! I've never really liked Mary Kay products, but I am a huge fan of the Lash Love mascara! I love the wand, which separates each lash individually! The only complaint that I have about it is I  seem to run out of product fast.

I recently purchased the new Arbonne Calm skincare set, and I LOVE it! I am fair complected and seem to get frequent red/pink undertones and blemishes, and this set helps with all of that! I also love that it's less expensive as some of the other Arbonne skincare sets! It doesn't leave your skin dry or oily, and it smells fresh!
I've been sort of an Ebay junkie lately, and I've purchased a couple of new books. This first one is Hannah's Hope. It's a book for people who have experienced infertility, miscarriage, etc. I read a lot of great reviews about it, so though I'd give it a try. I like that each chapter has several Bible verses to look up.

I also purchased this Bible study series called "Stuck". I've heard of a lot of churches using study series by Jennie Allen and have been wanting to check them out! I haven't started yet, but will keep you posted when I do!

A few randoms...

We are SO excited that it's finally football season!! We put our Hog decor out this week!! WOOOO PIGGIES!!!!

We celebrated Brooklyn and Stacey's birthdays at Gusano's Friday night! We don't all get together much anymore, so it was great to see everyone! Definitely a fun night!

Hope everyone has  a great Labor Day!!!

Fort Walton Beach

For summer vacation this year we took a couples trip to Fort Walton beach. We had a great time, and the weather was great!

Our first day at the beach was pretty low key. We hung out on the beach all day and went to the Crab Trap that night for dinner. I loooove the crab dip they have, and I would drive all the way to FL again just to have it! :)

This picture of  Chase cracks me up...

Adam was so proud that he did not get super burned, and I was to! Usually he's a lobster after the first day!

The boys on the balcony the first night we were there!

The crew at the comedy club

We played a lot of Razorback baggo while we were there! WOO PIGGIES!!

Girls at the comedy club

After the comedy club, we went to a bar called the Swamp, which was a ton of fun! Before we knew it, it turned into a foam party and bubbles were coming out of the ceiling! Was definitely an interesting experience to say the least :)

Our last night at the beach...tear!

Summer Fun!

We have been a little busy this summer, and I am way behind on blogging!

We started off the summer with Whitney's wedding in June, which was absolutely gorgeous!! Her pictures are still being edited by my mom, who is photographer, but I will post some later when they are ready!

Me and my hubby celebrated our 5th wedding Anniversary this year! Time has completely flown by, and it does not seem like it's been that long. This has definitely been one of the hardest and best years all wrapped into one. Of course the miscarriage was pretty much the worst experience we could possibly imagine, but looking back, it was definitely a happy and exciting time as well. We also bought a new house this year and have LOVED every minute of it! We were worried about living in a subdivision, but we actually like it a lot better! We don't have to worry about tree limbs falling on the house, or our crazy ex-neighbors waking us up every morning with their ATV's! We are still out in the country and it's usually very quite and peaceful. We love it!

My hubby surprised me BIG time with these beautiful earrings for our anniversary! He picked them out with a little help :) They are 1ct brilliant cut, which is close to a round cut. He did very good :)

Here's one pic of our house... I'll have to do a home tour in another post with  more pictures!

The pond and fishing dock in our neighborhood

Here's a pic of me with Kenley and Erica at Grumpy's watching Brooke and Faith's band play! We love having an excuse to hang out ;)

We went camping at Mountain Harbor for my birthday at the end of June, and the weather was perfect! Camping is one of our favorite things to do, so we try to take full advantage of the beautiful lakes in the summer!

Adam surprised me with some new sunnies for the lake! My old ones were scratched, so I was very glad to get some new ones!

Love sunsets at the lake...

We celebrated my birthday later at Cajun's Wharf with some friends. I didn't really take any pictures, but one of my friends made this cute photo collage!

Stacey and I went shopping in Dallas the weekend of July 4th! We only got lost ONE time, which is a huge accomplishment for us :) We got Ryann's new toddler bed from Ikea, along with a whole bunch of other random stuff that we probably didn't need! We also ate dinner one night at the Melting Pot, which I loooove and wish we had one here! It's basically a 3-course meal that is all fondue...and it's AMAZ-ing :)

Here's a pic from our first night. We had dinner on a rooftop bar at Gator's that overlooked the downtown area! It was a pretty fun place! You can't see it now, but Baby Boone is in Stacey's belly!! I think she was about 14 weeks at this time!

Here is a pic of the rooftop at Gator's looking towards the city..I could totally live in Dallas!! Southern Atmosphere + City = Yes please!

I have to brag on my friend Stacey for just a minute, only because I'm SO proud of her! She has been my best friend/sister since we were about 11 or 12. It's embarrassing to say, but I think our first thing we did as friends was go to a Britney Spears concert! lol! Anyway, that tells you how old we are :)

She is now 19 weeks pregnant and on top of that, she raises a toddler, works full time, cooks healthy meals for her family, exercises regularly, never complains about any of her pregnancy pains/reflux/you name it, and pretty much is a rockstar mom and wife! I hope one day I'll be a mom like her! She's my hero :)

I will post pics of our Fort Walton vacation later!! Have a great week!

Whitney's Bachelorette Party

Wow...so I definitely took a Blog hiatus!! Was not intentional by any means. I have missed it so much! We recently moved in our new house and haven't set up the internet yet, and I'm dying without it!! I have a LOT of catching up to do.

But for now, I'm going to post a few pics of Whit's Bachelorette Party & Lingerie Shower that I hosted for her! We started the night with a lingerie shower at my house, with some fun and games. After the shower, we headed to the Electric Cowboy for a lil' dancing!

Inside the invitations, I left a note for everyone to bring a pair of panties for the Bride that reflected their personality. As one of the games, Whitney had to guess who brought which pair of panties! I put a basket with a card reading "Panty Drop" at the entrance for guests to leave their gift.

Me and Whit before the party started! Love, love this sweet girl!

Kitchen Spread- we served fresh fruit and veggies, sausage dip, cheese ball, salsa, and strawberry cupcakes!

I thought the drink station turned out super cute! We wrote "Love Potion #9" on the beverage dispenser! The recipe we used called for Pink Moscato champagne, Sprite, Ginger Ale, and 2 cans of frozen Pink Lemonade! It was dee-lish and matched perfectly!

I found colorful drink stirrers and coasters at Target for $1/pkg, and re-usable drink labels for $4! I love how they turned out, and it was fun for everyone to pick their label!

The bride getting some pre-party pictures! And looking gorgeous!! Her outfit matched the decor perfectly!

Lovely ladies with their Love Potion!

Whitney's cup said "Bride To Be"

Whitney and Lindsey!

Whitney with her Aunt Mary and cousin Heather

Whitney and Amy! She is graduating Pharmacy school this weekend! We are so proud of you, Amy!!

Opening her shower gifts! As she was opening gifts, Stacey wrote funny phrases that Whitney said! It was very entertaining ;)

We love you Whitney and can't wait for your big day to get here!!
